Individual Counseling
Talking to a counseling professional is vital when such conditions impact our mood and cause our relationships, careers, and happiness to suffer.
We can help you develop personalized strategies and specific steps to help you to become healthy and to achieve further personal growth.
Counseling For Depression
Depression is a human experience that has existed since the beginning of recorded history. It is a condition that influences your thoughts, emotions, and perceptions of yourself. Depression affects the way you eat and sleep ... the way you view the past and the future ... and your perception of reality. Depression frequently has devastating effects on your family, friends, occupation and health!
ADHD & Anxiety Counseling
Do you find it difficult to stay focused? Do you often feel overwhelmed? Do you procrastinate, and later beat yourself up over it, again and again? Does ‘slowing down’ cause you distress? Do you get bored easily and often? Do you find yourself constantly reaching for the next cup of coffee, or the TV remote, or your phone, or skip from one website to the next, needing to stay in motion by constantly “doing something?”
Mario Uribe will assist you therapeutically, as well as guide you in seeking the help and resources, medically and otherwise, so that you can better understand and cope with your challenges. Those with ADHD often struggle with feelings of failure, rejection and shame. Treating adult ADHD is an individualized process, and working with a well-matched therapist can begin a process of self-acceptance, healing and effective life management.

Postpartum & Pregnancy
“Around 80% of new mothers will experience a change in their mental health in the first year after giving birth. Some experience a change while they are pregnant. Perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMAD) include depression, anxiety or OCD, Bipolar disorder, PTSD and psychosis. PMADs do not discriminate: they affect people of every race, every level of income, every age, and even all genders. It is quite common, and it is important to know that it is not your fault, you are not alone and there is help”, (https://www.pphatx.org).
Angela Ramirez-Jensen has served as a volunteer board member with nonprofits supporting perinatal care and women’s health. She has facilitated support groups for new moms and has created classes and training for new parents with a focus on the adult attachment bond of the couple. Angela has received clinical training with Postpartum Support International (www.postpartum.net) and keeps up with the latest research and best practices to support parents.
She has a specialization in supporting parents of children with special needs and accommodates parents through video therapy services when needed.
